International Accounting


This course is designed to

  • Introduce the participants to the importance of International Accounting Standards at the local level and their role in the promotion of listing in international markets and the protection of markets against financial crises
  • Provide the participants with methods, skills and information necessary to make accounting treatments in accordance with the International Accounting Standards
  • Provide the participants with the necessary skills to prepare basic financial statements in accordance with the International Accounting Standards and make necessary disclosure thereof

• Financial managers and accountants in all sectors
• External and internal auditors

• Financial analysts in financial market, central bank, banks, companies and public and private sectors

• Workers in control bodies in the public sector and the central bank

• International Accounting  Standards related to balance sheet, namely 2, 10, 16, 17, 27, 28, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40

• International Accounting  Standards related to specific sectors, namely 30, 41

            - International Accounting Standard 22: business combination
