Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh referred to similarity between Jordan and Korea in terms of scarcity of natural resources which drove Korea towards developing education, training and investment in human resources to compensate resources’ scarcity, eventually resulted in making the country one of the world’s top ten countries with the highest GDP.

Furthermore, the two parties discussed the proposal for establishing a Korean cultural center in collaboration with TAG.Global on the model of Abu-Ghazaleh Global’s partnership with China, to spread Korean language and culture: TAG.Global has been cooperating with the Republic of China through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Foundation (TAG-Foundation) to promote and teach Chinese language in Jordan since 2008.

In higher education, the two parties agreed on signing partnerships and cooperation agreements between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) and Korean universities to exchange students and develop co-branded professional and educational programs, as Jordan requires various professional specialties.
